The vote accelerates the audit queue. It never decides a verdict. A verdict comes from the chain and only from the chain, and kascov may audit anything at any time, voted for or not. Holding a token buys no influence over what kascov.io reports.

Between rounds is the time

No round open? Get ready for round 3.

A closed tally is not a closed door. Rounds open with a slate and close within days, so the ballots that count come from people who verified before the round opened. Be one of them.

Ship with the counts

The rules.

The same rules ship inside the tally file itself, so the counts cannot be quoted without their own limits attached.

  • One verified holder, one vote per round. Voting again before the round closes replaces the earlier ballot, it never adds a second one.
  • Voting needs a proven balance of at least 100 $KASCOV. The dust floor is policy, not physics, and changes only by a commit to the public repo.
  • Rounds close when the operator closes them, or after five days, whichever comes first. Closing freezes the counts and deletes the ballots themselves.
  • Casting a ballot adds a participation claim to your public passport when the round closes: voted-round-N, naming the round and nothing else. The claim never says what you picked; the ballot itself is deleted at close, and the claim appears in the public file on the next passport rebuild, within about six hours.
  • The vote accelerates the audit queue; it never decides a verdict.
